Fighting Against Hunger

Frozen & Refrigerated Food Council of Northern California fights against hunger by organizing charitable programs to feed hungry Americans. Many volunteers come forward to participate in our annual volunteer day. As a volunteer, you can make a difference in the lives of less fortunate people. The Council was able to present Second Harvest with a $10,000 donation this year at our Annual Membership Luncheon in November. We are proud to partner with the following food banks to provide food to those in need. Please click the links to visit these leaders in the fight against hunger to see how you can help.

Group

The Frozen and Refrigerated Food Council had our annual Volunteer Day at Sacramento Food Bank. Our volunteers were comprised of Retailers, Manufacturers and Brokers all coming together to do good for our community. The Council often coordinates Volunteer Days throughout various NorCal locations. It is a great chance to help those less fortunate. Families are encouraged (no one under 12 please). Please reach out to [email protected] for upcoming volunteer opportunities.
